This is by far one of my favorite places to eat with great food , good prices and a cozy atmosphere . The staff are very welcoming and really care about providing good service to their customers . it's the best kept secret in town compared to other high priced over rated Mexican Restaurants .

Best Mexican food we have had here. We lived in Arizona and have traveled extensively throughout Mexico so it was nice to discover this restaurant with it's fresh food and authentic flavors.

Excellent as always! And on Tuesdays crunchy tacos $1 and soft tacos $1.50 it's a bargain!

Very good Mexican food with GREAT SERVICE. It's a family run operation. The owner greets you and ensures you get service. Salsa is excellent and the chips are freshly made. Generous portions at good prices

Absolutely fantastic! Service was super fast. Margaritas we're great,portions are excellent. So far this place is my number one Mexican restaurant. I will be back with family and friends. The prices are out of this world phenomenal. Seriously outstanding place!

Best price for Mexican food in the area! Tastes great too! Very authentic. The only complaint I have is that my favorite dish, the chili releno, while delicious, they leave the seeds in it. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it is all consistently delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend you give them a try! #Hablo

One of my favorite local joints. Solid Tex-Mex at great prices. They have the best Fajita Nachos and Pico de Gallo around.

Food is always great, and the wait staff is excellent.

Ate here they brung the food out so fast within 5 minutes, went in around 3:00pm left around 3:45pn, 11 at night I was throwing up I know it was because of this place because it was nothing but rice in my throw up and I felt much better after words

A Mexican food restaurant that serves you lots of food. Their menu is basically Mexican food with some other Foods. I don't like the red sauce at all. It's like they opened up a can and put some corn starch in it. Their other food is mediocre Mexican food. The atmosphere isn't that great. The service is mediocre. They get your food hot and fast. I haven't been back.

I really enjoyed the chimichanga here. And the prices are very very reasonable compared to the other Mexican restaurants in our area. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired but for what it is I would definitely go back

Been here many times. Food is ok to good. Plates are usually chipped and dingy but the wait staff is very nice. I notice they have gotten more expensive lately. Tamales are disgusting though. Their red sauce dishes and the ground meat in the cheese taco are gross. It was like minced. Like cat food. But I've sampled a good bit and the rest is pretty decent.

I have been to this location about 3 times the food was delicious and wait staff friendly even though the place was very busy. Best Mexican restaurant around though there are a few others within a mile .

Fast friendly service, great prices

My friend and I happened to stumble upon this place while we were vacationing down in Louisiana. Little did we know just how fantastic the food would be. We still still talk about how much we enjoyed our time there to this day. In fact, we'd drive the 19 hours just to taste this food again. Do yourself a favor, go eat here already.

I love this place, but it is a shame that they have been ripping me, my friends, and brother off for almost 2 months. I did not know until last night that a friend told me on the Facebook page of El Portal that they have been advertising Taco Tuesday with $1 tacos since June 9th. I come here all the time with friends and family, and we ask about Taco Tuesday every time. They always tell us they aren't doing Taco Tuesday anymore, but yet they have been advertising it for almost 2 months on their Facebook page. I wonder how many other customers they are robbing and taking advantage of.If you want a great Mexican food place that does Taco Tuesday $1 tacos every Tuesday try Cilantros on N New Hampshire. They don't lie to their customers, and also have great food.

I will give this restaurant 4 stars. More like 3.5. It was a decent place. Prices were reasonable and the service was fast. Starting with the margarita's, they were pretty good for a pre mix. Not to sour and not bright green. To me this is the tell tale sign of how the meal will be. The food was a little disappointing but flavored well. Ordered nachos supreme with beef and chicken, good but not so impressive. We ordered enchiladas and chimichangas. The chimichangas were not crispy as they should be. They actually were a bit soggy. I ordered the shrimp version. Tasty but not crispy. My wife was a little sceptical of the ground beef. It was good flavored but was the same in everything. Chips and salsa were on point. Over all for the price it was a nice place. Fast service and hot food.

Love their fajita taco salad when they make the bowls fresh the best taco salad when its fresh bowls you can taste the difference when they are fresh cause they are flakey when they are not they are chewy and taste stale
